FlorEcuador, the Social-Environmental official certification of Ecuador will participate at IFTF for the first time at Booth A2.40. Expoflores, the Ecuadorian Flower growers / exporters Association requires all of its associates to comply with the standards established by FlorEcuador and that way guarantee that they implement practices that assures welfare and appropriate wages for the people, minimize environmental impact and less consumption of inputs &resources.

The main idea of FlorEcuador's presence at IFTF is to make conscious on importers and wholesalers that the product that they are already acquiring from FlorEcuador certified farms isn't just flowers, but represents also wellbeing of people and a sustainable vision within the production processes. Importers, wholesalers and other trade companies at USA, Europe and all around the world buying from Ecuadorian farms can now recognize this hard work done by the farms in benefit of the society and the global industry of flowers.
